Honesty of a taxi-driver
Wenfeng was a taxi-driver.
One morning,a man got into his taxi."Please take me to Noth Bridge Centre,"he said."Yes,sir"Wenfeng replied .After they reached Noth Bridge Centre,the man paid Wenfeng.He got off the taxi and went into the buliding.Wenfeng noticed that the man had dropped his wallet.He picked up the man`s wallet and ran after him."Stop,sir!You have dropped your wallet," he shout.The man stopped.Wenfeng returned the wallet.The man smiled at Wenfeng and said,"You are a very honest taxi-driver".

The Honest Ghost written by Charles
Peeky the ghost is very naughty but honest.
There was once when Peeky saw somebody in a kitchen with an open door. Peeky’s white coat shimmered in the moonlight. He crept behind the person, took out his yellow-green coloured torchlight, pointed it at the wall and switched it on. The person screamed in fright . Peeky the ghost guffawed mischievously but nothing in the house, not even the cat standing in the garden heard or saw him.
The next day, Peeky saw a factory wall and there was a hole in the middle of it. Suddenly, a small red gooey thing dropped out of the hole. First, Peeky went to the front of the factory and he saw the name of the factory “Mr. Maker – an MP3 making factory”.
Then he went back to where he saw the hole, picked up the gooey thing, went into the factory and saw a conveyor belt that held all the things that Peeky had in his hand. He put it back on the conveyor belt and instantly after he put it back, a worker standing nearby said “Thank you” to him. He was very happy on that day because it was the first time he had shown his honesty.
Peeky is still honest till today but sometimes he may be naughty. So watch out … he may be behind you NOW!
Helping Out At home by Laetitia Hong
It was mum's birthday. We wanted to give her a surprise. So my brother and I helped her do the housework. First, we cleaned the rooms. Next, we did the laundry, washed the bathroom and the dishes. When mum came back, she was surprised. She said that was her best birthday present ever!
When I was a child, I didn't have hair on my head, just some stubs.
I liked to watch my friends play. I would join them now and then, but I preferred watching.
Every day, we would see an old man walking by our playground, carrying an umbrella. He had big ears and a bald head. The moment my friends saw him pass by, they would shout, "Hey, deaf and dumb, what's the time?" They told me that he could neither hear nor speak.
It was early evening. I was standing at the gate of my house, when I saw the old man coming. I was alone. There were no friends around to shout the usual words of 'greeting'.
But how could I let this man walk by without saying anything? So for the first time, I asked in a soft voice, "Hey deaf and dumb, what's the time?"
The old man looked at me. Then he looked at his watch and replied,"It's five thirty."
I ran inside the house and never shouted at the old man after that day.
What did I do during my June holidays? By Charles
Ooh, what a nice holiday! I did many exciting things during my June Holidays, including a trip to Japan.
First, we took TWO airplanes to Japan. The day was almost finished when I got there. I haven’t even started my holiday by then!
Next, we took ANOTHER flight to Hokkaido (I’m airsick!) ! Oh man, we are taking one more later …. Did I forget to tell you that I’m staying in this country for TWO WEEKS – Yes … I’m getting homesick too!
Just after we got off the plane, Dad rented a car (He always does whenever we go for holidays) and he drove us to the first hotel – Hotel Grand Toya.
The only place we went to when we were staying at this hotel was Lake Toya. It was O-shaped. When the sun was setting, Dad drove us to the edge of the lake to take photographs. At about 8:00 at night, we heard loud booming sounds. I opened the curtains and saw … RAINBOW-COLOURED FIREWORKS at Lake Toya! There are going to be more of them (not at Lake Toya again) the next few days.
Then, Dad drove us to Iamminekko Inn at Norboribetsu. I went to the Public Bath there to relax with Dad. Just as we stepped into Indoor Room 1 (near the Steaming Bubbles Bath), I had a ‘water-fight’ with Dad at the Cleaning-Up Space. Then we went to the Desert Bath next door. It doesn’t look or feel like a desert but it is hot (not as hot as Steaming Bubbles Bath). Then we went to the Japakoozee Bath to cool down. It was a fun day there!
Then, we went back to Tokyo. It was amazing! I could never forget!
First, we went to Tokyo Dome City. I went to the Spinning Coaster with Dad. I saw one of the roller-coasters whizzing past. A shiver of determination went down my spine. Once we were on the spinning car, we caught up in a whirlwind of fun! I was really dizzy when I got off.
The next day, we went to the Global Science Museum. We went to the Dinosaur Exhibition (Non-Permanent). We saw lots and lots of dinosaur fossils. I even saw a giant carnivore! “It was probably called Gigantosaurus.” I thought.
Next, we went to the Underwater Life Permanent Exhibition. We saw loads of fish and underwater living things. We also saw a Temperate sea food chain.
Then, we went to 360 degrees Theatre. The GROUND we were standing on seemed like a super-earthship! We saw what’s happening inside a volcano, sea creatures, black smokers and lots more. At first, I thought it was not really 360 degrees but when the movie was on and we went into the sea we saw many different kinds of animals from different angles! That was when I realised it was really 360 degrees.
Finally, we went to the airport and took the last plane back to Singapore. Goodbye, Japan!
When we were at home, I did nothing but YOUR homework, Mdm Irni! You forced me to start this journal early! HEEHEE! I went to a robotic holiday program called Robo Wrestler. I made a super-speed robot based on the Instructions Book. I put red block for its design and put a light sensor on it. Then, my partner, Mariessa, programmed it. Finally, we had a Robot battle. Our robot won all of them!
I like this holiday because it was very fun. I am happy about it and I am looking forward to the next one.
A Loving Family
Mary had a very loving brother. On her seventh birthday,her bother,John,brought her a nice doll.Mary loved the doll very much. She would play with it every afternoon.
One day,the doll was accidentally torn by their pen dog.Mary was very upset.That night,when Mary was sleeping,John used a needle and some thread to stitch up the doll.When Mary woke up the next morning,she was surprised that the doll had been repaired.She gave John a big hug and said,"Thank you very much.You are the world's best brother."

My Family
I have a happy Family. There are fivemenbers in my family. My father and mother are working I have tow big sisters age thirteen and fifteen I am the youngest. When we altogether at home we are happy. I and my sisters sometimes quarrel. My father and mother also bring us go out to the park and play bicycle with my sisters.We also build a sand castle together. i go to the playground and play monkey bar. After that we go near to the sea and wash our feet with water.

Aziz apologized to Mrs Lim again as she walked away in a huffed.Azi'z neighbour,Mrs Lim,had just complained to him about his cat,Bubble.Bubble had again tried to attack Mrs Lim's parrot.Mrs Lim kept her parrot in a big cage outside her flat.Bubble kept creeping up to it and sticking a paw into its cage.Aziz was angry with Bubble for being mischievous."You are a bad cat,Bubble!"Aziz said to Bubble."I hope the parrot pecks your paw the next time!"
