I am Briana Cheong.
On 28 of May 2009 was the last day of Term 2.
There were a total 8 stations because station 5 was cancelled due to shortage of time.
My favourite station is station 1, known as Science-Nosey Time.
I enjoy leading my group and hope that I have more chance to lead again.

I am Ethan Chua. I am seven years old and I study in Hong Wen School. I have no brother and sister but I have a cousin.
My favourite food is penne with olive oil. My favourite video games are Street Fighter, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Guitar Hero World Tour and Transformers. My favourite comics is Ben Ten.
What did I do during my June holidays? By Charles
Ooh, what a nice holiday! I did many exciting things during my June Holidays, including a trip to Japan.
First, we took TWO airplanes to Japan. The day was almost finished when I got there. I haven’t even started my holiday by then!
Next, we took ANOTHER flight to Hokkaido (I’m airsick!) ! Oh man, we are taking one more later …. Did I forget to tell you that I’m staying in this country for TWO WEEKS – Yes … I’m getting homesick too!
Just after we got off the plane, Dad rented a car (He always does whenever we go for holidays) and he drove us to the first hotel – Hotel Grand Toya.
The only place we went to when we were staying at this hotel was Lake Toya. It was O-shaped. When the sun was setting, Dad drove us to the edge of the lake to take photographs. At about 8:00 at night, we heard loud booming sounds. I opened the curtains and saw … RAINBOW-COLOURED FIREWORKS at Lake Toya! There are going to be more of them (not at Lake Toya again) the next few days.
Then, Dad drove us to Iamminekko Inn at Norboribetsu. I went to the Public Bath there to relax with Dad. Just as we stepped into Indoor Room 1 (near the Steaming Bubbles Bath), I had a ‘water-fight’ with Dad at the Cleaning-Up Space. Then we went to the Desert Bath next door. It doesn’t look or feel like a desert but it is hot (not as hot as Steaming Bubbles Bath). Then we went to the Japakoozee Bath to cool down. It was a fun day there!
Then, we went back to Tokyo. It was amazing! I could never forget!
First, we went to Tokyo Dome City. I went to the Spinning Coaster with Dad. I saw one of the roller-coasters whizzing past. A shiver of determination went down my spine. Once we were on the spinning car, we caught up in a whirlwind of fun! I was really dizzy when I got off.
The next day, we went to the Global Science Museum. We went to the Dinosaur Exhibition (Non-Permanent). We saw lots and lots of dinosaur fossils. I even saw a giant carnivore! “It was probably called Gigantosaurus.” I thought.
Next, we went to the Underwater Life Permanent Exhibition. We saw loads of fish and underwater living things. We also saw a Temperate sea food chain.
Then, we went to 360 degrees Theatre. The GROUND we were standing on seemed like a super-earthship! We saw what’s happening inside a volcano, sea creatures, black smokers and lots more. At first, I thought it was not really 360 degrees but when the movie was on and we went into the sea we saw many different kinds of animals from different angles! That was when I realised it was really 360 degrees.
Finally, we went to the airport and took the last plane back to Singapore. Goodbye, Japan!
When we were at home, I did nothing but YOUR homework, Mdm Irni! You forced me to start this journal early! HEEHEE! I went to a robotic holiday program called Robo Wrestler. I made a super-speed robot based on the Instructions Book. I put red block for its design and put a light sensor on it. Then, my partner, Mariessa, programmed it. Finally, we had a Robot battle. Our robot won all of them!
I like this holiday because it was very fun. I am happy about it and I am looking forward to the next one.
What did I do during my June holidays?
In the first week,I went to ArtZone to do art and craft.I did painting and clay-modeling.I also made a trophy with recycle materials.I was very happy with my craft.In the second week,I went to a Chinese camp for four days.The teachers taught us Chinese in the morning.After lunch,we did many activities.On the first afternoon,we went to a place called Health Zone to learn about health and keeping fit.On the second afternoon,we did some baking.On the third afternoon,we went to the Singapore National Museum,and on the fourth afternoon,we visited a fish farm.I ended the week by attending a two-day church camp.During the third week,I did my school homework and read some books.I also went to Safra Mount Faber to attend their Chemical Lab and Street Magic Workshop.I enjoyed myself.In the last week of the holiday,my friends came over to my house to play.I was very excited about it.We had a lot of fun.I had a great and interesting time during my four weeks of holidays.

My School
My school is at Towner Rd.My school name is Hong Wen.We have 38 classrooms in our school.We also have some special rooms like Computer room,MRL,and other.Our school has 5 storeys and the 5th storey is a roof garden.My best part of the school is the Computer room.I like it becase I like to play the computer.All the teachers are kind in our school.My form teacher,Mdm Irni is fun and friendly.My school starts at 7.15am to 1.35pm except Friday.On Fridays,we end at 12.35pm.Besides studying academic sudjects,we play Guzheng and write Chinese Calligraphy.We learn a lot about the Chinese Culture in this school.Even the school uniform has a Mandarin collar and a Chinese knot.I like my uniform very much.

Let me show you what we do today.we have to run to the middle than skip five times than we run to our friend and tap their hand than the opposite friend will do the same.The one behind me will get ready than do the same.I got a silver medal.I am second.
